The space inside the hut is unique because there is a space for all – sleeping on a beautiful double bed, eating on a hand made Oak table with extra seating up to 4 people, facilities to cook in a hand made fitted kitchen with traditional farmhouse style dresser for all your crockery etc. and finally a fantastic bathroom that includes shower cubicle (not a tiny one that you would expect to find but a normal size), toilet and wash hand basin. There is storage also for all your belongings and also storage outside at the back of the hut for larger items – like suitcases etc. Outside – well where do I start. The accommodation is set on a river fronted field with fantastic views over the valley. Guests are free to wander to the river and we have created a secret island by placing stepping stones over the river into a glade that would be perfect to picnic, or just to take a book and lose one’s self. The hot tub is available for private use and is the perfect end to an adventurous or casual day out exploring the Brecon Beacons. There are several footpaths in and around the farm that guests can follow and enjoy an afternoon of exploring or simply just relax on your deck and enjoy the tranquility of the natural surroundings with a large glass of wine.
Our hut has been crafted to the highest standards and is situated in its own little paddock with fruit trees and a tree lined stream. We have provided a wood fired hot tub for guests to relax in, then when your hungry rustle up a pizza in the wood fired pizza oven! We also have a fire pit to use. The hut consists of a double bed, kitchen area with electric hob, kettle and microwave with a log burner nestled in the corner. Then there’s a good sized bathroom with shower, toilet and sink.
