The yurt is well insulated with sheep wool The timber comes from sustainable Scottish woods. The stove has a hot plate for preparing small dishes. The super king size bed is hand made.Set in a rural area north of Perth is a secluded wildlife haven.

Nest is exceptionally located in what we call the “forest island” – a circular Norwegian forest in the middle of the acre, with stunning views over the farm and over the Vorma River. You will be tucked in by pine forest and elevated by the cozy platform the dome is resting on, giving this dome a true treehouse feeling. The dome is completely secluded by the forest and offers guests a unique and relaxing experience. Note: there is no water or electricity in the dome itself, but 100m from the dome there is the barn with all living facilities, including a shower, kitchen, coffee machine, a common area with electric plugs, etc. SAUNA: The stay includes a free 1-hour private steamy sauna session in the mirrored glass sauna at the riverside. KITCHEN facilities: For cooking facilities, the kitchen in the barn is fully equipped with 2 large fridges for guests, a stove, pots and pans, and other equipment. We have a common charcoal BBQ on the pier at the riverside (if you want to use it bring your own bag of coals to be sure). The dome has a fireplace inside and a fire pit outside for easy grilling. Firewood is provided by us. FOOD SERVING OPTIONS: we offer a breakfast basket for 2 and a tapas plate for 2, ready for you to pick up in the barn for an extra charge. SHOWER AND BATHROOM facilities: the glamping pod has its own private outdoor toilet. There are regular toilets and a shower in the barn (about 100 m away). There is also a hot outdoor shower at the Vorma riverside. HOW TO GET THERE: We recommend renting a car or taking a Taxi (or Uber/bolt) from the Oslo airport to the farm. When using public transport: a bus stops at “Fenstad Kirke”. From the bus stop it is a 1.3km (15 min) walk to the farm. Parking is free. It is a short hike from the parking lot to the dome of about 100 meters uphill on a field. PREPARE: Bring suitable shoes for the weather conditions and not more luggage than what you are able to carry. We recommend using a backpack, a torch light, and hiking shoes or boots! Linen (sengetøy) and towels are included.
