Kalaneri Art Gallery is also an Academy of Fine Arts and specialises in exploring traditional prints, textures and forms of arts, with an eye for its depiction in the light of the contemporary world. One sees the obvious abstract paintings a lot here, but the textures are also reminiscent of the local textures and an understanding of the fusion of various colours in the pallette.

Kalaneri Art Gallery moves beyond the obvious and also fosters creativity by working with mixed mediums and enthusing the interest in the depth of understanding art through diverse perspectives – kite festivals and film festivals are examples of the same idea in execution.
