Exotic Tree House Rentals Tucked Away in the Rainforest in Sigiriya, Sri Lanka
At this glamping site in Sigiriya, Sri Lanka, guests will get to go through the beautiful forest to reach an open field of iluk grass, where there are two small, rain-fed lakes and these two tree house rentals. The tree houses are perfectly aligned with the nature that surrounds them, including coconut-thatched roofs, folding bamboo tats in place of walls, and wooden floors. They are perfectly suited for both young families and older guests alike. One of the tree houses can accommodate three guests, while the other can accommodate five guests. Both are powered by solar panels, and each has two floors—including a large bedroom and two living rooms. Low lighting is used in both tree houses, too, in order to decrease light pollution and conserve energy. Mosquito nets, linens, and modern toilets are provided, and there is a bathroom on the ground floor with a hot shower in each tree house. Guests are sure to enjoy looking out to the Nuwaragala Mountains or listening to the sweet calls of the area’s birds from these tree houses in Sri Lanka. There are huts for lounging and dining at this glamping site near the lake. Tea, coffee, and water are complimentary, and guests can enjoy custom meals in the dining hut. Packed lunches are available upon request. On-site staff includes a manager, a housekeeper, a guide, and a cook.
